More difficult than escaping Alcatrez
Logan's breathing is improved enough that he can go home on that front. His rash is improved enough that they are no longer worried about that. He is eating fine, but on Friday night (9/18/09) his heart rate dropped below 80 so they have to keep him for an additional 48 hours in order to make sure it doesn't happen again. They believe he may have some reflux issues. Saturday, I meet with the lactation specialist and she too believes that he has reflux. We schedule an upper GI test for Sunday (9/20/09) morning. Sunday morning, the upper GI test confirms that he does have reflux, so the doctors prescribe zantac and reglin to help with the reflux. In addition, his billirubin test was high two days in a row, so he can't come home on Sunday like we had hoped... maybe Monday.
