Day 30- June 22 - Sulfer Skyline

We started off the morning doing the Valley of the Five Lakes hike. This took you to five different glacial lakes, each one with a different blue green color.

They had the red chairs at the third lake – we love these red chairs :-)
I am blessed with an amazing family who follows me into multiple adventures :-)
We squeeze the whole family into the two red chairs

You can tell hear that the boys were over the picture taking.

Logan and I checking out the second lake.
We made a chipmunk friend along the way

In the afternoon – we went to the sulfur skyline hike which was 3 miles almost straight uphill.
It was one of the most amazing view points that we have seen…
The view from the top was worth the hike- although sometimes the boys disagree

These are the panoramic views from both sides –
The last part of the trail took about 20 minutes to climb and was almost straight up hill – going down was the easy part.

Our mile time is going up for 30 minutes, 40 minutes, and 50 minutes – coming down they were 18, 16, and 17 :-)
We celebrated the end of our hike with some time in the hot springs – check out the mountains in the background.
This guy was right outside David's window as he was driving leaving the hot springs – he was massively impressive and we were thrilled to see one this close.

We also saw this cinnamon colored black bear – as it turns out, black bears are not only black.
We had had a frustrating day with the slide on our camper not working correctly – so we were thankful to be able to sit down to a nice dinner after a long hike :-)
