Day 40 - July 2- Guernsey State Park

We started off my morning by going to the Cliff Register.  It was really interesting to see all of these sparrow nest filled with baby sparrows.
In addition, here at Register Cliff – people would stop on their way through on the Oregon Trail. This is how far they could get after they left Fort Laramie. They would list their name, where they were from, and the date that they were here. It was really interesting to see some of the older dates.
This is some of the largest sandstone preserved rights of the Oregon Trail – it was really cool to see what the wagons must've gone over.

We also visited the Guernsey State Park Museum.
When we left here, we arrived at Hermit park – which is a campground outside of Rocky Mountain national Park. This is the first time the boys were able to put up there and ask and they were super excited.
