Day 48- Lincoln's Boyhood Home

We left Illinois this morning and headed to Indiana.

We made a stop at Abraham Lincoln's Boyhood home before heading to Tennessee.
While there, we saw where Lincoln's mother was buried.  She died shortly after they moved to Indiana of milk disease.  This happened when they drank the milk from the cows that had eaten a certain plant.
The stone below was in the original tomb with Abraham Lincoln and was brought over at a later date.
This is looking up the hill to where Nancy Lincoln is buried.
We entered Kentucky...
... and then Tennessee
which is where we camped for the night...
